Britannia Cues was founded in the 1970s, a time when snooker was beginning to gain massive popularity, with trailblazers' like Ray Reardon and John Spencer hitting the scene.

The company started in a small family-run workshop in Birmingham, England, where each cue was meticulously handcrafted with pride. During the 1980s, snooker experienced a boom, and Britannia Cues became a trusted name among players.

In the 1990s the brand underwent a radical revival under new leadership, bringing in with them extensive experience from working with other premium cue brands, such as AEON of Coventry, Hunt & O'Bryne and Riley's.
