Description

The Strachan 6811 Pool Cloth 86 is one of the most respected and widely used napped wool cloths in the cue sport industry, trusted for its consistency, durability, and authentic British playing characteristics. Manufactured in the UK by Strachan, the leading name in professional billiard textiles, the 6811 86 offers a refined balance of speed, control, and long term performance suitable for both commercial venues and high end private installations.

Woven from premium Merino wool, the cloth features a precision cut nap that delivers predictable ball response and excellent positional control. Its medium fast pace is ideal for English pool, providing smooth roll behaviour with reliable spin retention. The tight weave structure ensures uniform fibre alignment, reducing directional bias and maintaining consistent play across the entire table.

With a robust 86 grade specification, the cloth is engineered for heavy‑use environments, offering enhanced abrasion resistance and long service life. The colourfast dye formulation prevents fading under strong lighting, while the natural wool fibres regulate moisture to preserve stable playing conditions. Installation is supported by precision loomed selvedge edges, ensuring clean trimming and secure fitting.

Manufactured under ISO certified UK textile standards, the Strachan 6811 86 remains the benchmark for traditional napped pool cloth, delivering the authentic feel and reliability demanded by clubs, pubs, academies, and serious players.
