Since 1987, the World Pool-Billiard Association has governed the global sport, defining rules, sanctioning world championships, and setting the standards every serious player recognises. In all that time, the WPA has never put its name on an official product. The Unity changes that.

This is the organisation’s first ever commercial release, and the choice is deliberate. The WPA selected Heyball, and this ball set specifically as the inaugural product worthy of carrying its identity. For venues, operators, and committed players, that endorsement carries a level of authority no marketing claim can match.

The Unity begins with a philosophy, not a specification. Conceived by billiards enthusiast Jorgen Sandman, with its intellectual property now owned by the WPA the set is inspired by the ancient Chinese concept of Yin and Yang: balance, harmony, and the interplay of opposites.

Pink balls feature blue numerals; blue balls feature pink numerals. Each group contains the imprint of the other. As Sandman explains, the intention was to create equipment with meaning: a modern expression of a centuries-old philosophy, honouring both artistry and the evolution of the sport.

Constructed from premium phenolic resin, the set delivers the consistency, durability, and resilience required for high-volume venue use. The solid-colour design reduces visual fatigue and enhances strategic clarity, two instantly recognisable groups, numbered symmetrically from 1 to 7, with high-contrast pink and blue tones that make the table readable at a glance for players and spectators alike.

Each set of Dynasphere balls undergoes a highly controlled, multi stage production cycle:

Strict recipe phenolic resin batching

Robotic mould filling

Multi stage curing

Diamond tool engraving (0.25mm)

Resin backfilling

Multiphase grinding and 5 axis CNC sizing

Final curing of up to 5000 balls at once

Proprietary HC‑142 finishing for maximum shine and strength

Quality checks are performed 54 times throughout production, with additional inspections in Belgium for roundness, hardness, density, weight, and concentricity.
